This is the entry level for our Administrative Legal Clerk classifications and does not require previous law enforcement experience. However, this position does require a minimum of 2 years of clerical experience. You will be provided with on the job training from experienced clerical staff and will be expected to successfully handle all aspects of the entry level position within 12 months of appointment.

This is the senior level for our Administrative Legal Clerk series. This classification does not require previous law enforcement experience, however, a minimum of 3 years of legal clerical experience is required. This classification often serves as shift supervisor over an assigned team in either the Sheriff’s Records Unit or the Corrections Division.
